It may be indoors, but that shouldn’t stop the PLL from celebrating their players competing. The World Box Championships in Utica are underway. Fresh off the PLL season, plenty of field players have made their way back indoors chasing gold in the box game. Having experience in both disciplines has become an invaluable tool for players, from youth to the pro game. Every player who has won the PLL MVP also plays indoors. In the last PLL Top 50 players, half of the top ten also play indoors. This year, the PLL MVP, Attackman of the Year, Midfielder of the Year, SSDM of the Year, and Goalie of the Year were all players who also play in the NLL.
If you’re a PLL fan but don’t follow indoor as closely, World Championships are a way for you to find your favorite players indoors and see how much fun the game can be. Here are, team by team, the PLL players competing indoors and the nation they are playing for. It’s really just spread across the rosters of USA, Canada, and the Haudenosaunee. I included some Holdout List names as well. At the bottom is a list of formerly rostered players from the PLL who aren’t on a team now but you might recognize.
