Sticks In Lacrosse

Sticks In is the home of independent lacrosse news, analysis, features for the Premier Lacrosse League, National Lacrosse League, and College Lacrosse landscapes. It is owned and edited by Dan Arestia.

 

Dan began playing lacrosse in New Canaan 1993, continuing to play through high school and in college. He began coaching lacrosse at the youth level in his home town of New Canaan in 2004. Over the next 12 years, he coached the youth level, high school varsity level, and in club lacrosse in New Canaan, Darien, and Westport, Connecticut, home of some of the top public school lacrosse programs in the United States. Dan left coaching and moved into lacrosse journalism in 2015. As a lacrosse media member, his game coverage, analysis, player evaluations, and features have appeared in Inside Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse Magazine, Lacrosse Flash, New England Lacrosse Journal, Lacrosse Culture Daily, Prep Lacrosse, Pro Lacrosse Talk, and College Crosse. He also wrote game handicapping analysis of PLL games for PicksWise. He has written player features on an individual basis for high level club programs. He regularly attends games from the high school to the professional level across the northeast and mid-atlantic regions.
